1,000 Calorie Diabetic Diet – Be Careful!

Diabetic diets provide healthy eating plans that will keep the level of glucose (sugar) in your blood in a good range. A 1,000 calorie diabetic diet is one of the strictest ones as it supposes that your daily calorie intake has to be limited to 1,000 calories.

Before you start following this diet, please ask yourself if that number of calories is the right amount for your body. You have to be completely sure about that. That is why don’t forget to ask your physician the same question. Don’t risk your health, it’s priceless.

A 1,000 calorie diabetic diet is rarely recommended for people who suffer from diabetes and/or overweight, but whose lifestyle is rather active (connected with sports or hard physical work). Physical activity is accompanied by calorie output. And when you choose a diet which is based on the limited number of calories, you should remember about the balance between daily calorie input and output.

This matter is also of high importance when you combine a diet with physical exercises. Probably it would be reasonable to lower your physical activity to a minimum in these days. Because rapid calorie level decrease can cause damages in your body that are even worse that those caused by diabetes.
