Viagra a drug which holds the first place in sales all over the world and used of treatment of impotence in the near future may also be widely used in transplantology. As the research made in university of Florida suggests the preparation effectively decreases arterial pressure in patients after heart transplantation, expressing a significant decrease in side effects when compared to classical anti-hypertensive drugs.

The researched included 15 patients, who had a heart transplantation and are suffering from hypertension. The research has proven that the daily use of Viagra in 50mg doses decreases the arterial pressure in the pulmonary and systemic blood circulation.
