Treatment for Impotence

Posted on Thursday, June 11, 2009 at 1:53 pm

Male Impotence are the two words every sexually active man is afraid
to hear. It is already unfair that men biologically die faster than
women and if we were to add impotence to that life would become hell.

Male impotence has nothing to do with the age of an individual; it
does not essentially affect a man of older age. It can affect men who
are younger and tougher as well, but there is nothing to be worried
about as this problem of male impotence can be treated.
There are several ways to treat male impotence, some of these treatments are:

1) Medication
There are a variety of medicines that are very helpful in treating
male impotence. Come of these medicines are:

a) Viagra: Viagra is a drug that is one of the most accepted medications for the treatment of male impotence. This drug is usually taken an hour before the sexual intercourse and the user needs to be sexually enthused or stimulated for the drug to take effect. The effect of this drug usually lasts for up to three or four hours. You can Buy Viagra from the nearby drug store on the prescription of a doctor.

b) Cialis: Cialis is a drug which is taken 30 minutes before the
sexual intercourse. Same as in the case of Viagra, this drug also
becomes effective when the user is sexually stimulated. This drug does
not increase ones sexual desire nor is it an aphrodisiac.

2) Hormone Treatments
It has been noticed that hormonal problems do not cause male impotence very often but testosterone deficiency can also lead to some sort of male impotence and hence his aspect can’t be ignored. This treatment can only be done if the patient is actually testosterone deficient.

3) Injection/Shot Treatment
This treatment is a tough one and can’t be undertaken by most,
especially by those men who are fearful of needles. This treatment a
drug is directly injected into the shaft of the penis a few minutes
before the sexual intercourse. The drug in this case takes about
fifteen minutes before it shows its effect.

There are a few more ways to treat male impotence, but by far the best and most effective and economic way is through the use of Viagra, as you can conveniently buy Viagra from a drugstore and use it as prescribed.

One of the many things people remain tensed about these days is their increasing weight. So keeping this aspect in mind, Scientists have come up with new and refreshing ideas which people can use to effectively reduce their weight.

Let me discuss few of the many available ideas or ways through which you could reduce your weight:

One of them is Acai Berry. This is a purple colored fruit that looks more or less like grapes but the only difference being that it has seeds inside. The Acai has plenty of anti-oxidants that complete the fruit. Only because of these anti-oxidants, is acai so very famous and helpful for the weight loss purpose.

Another one is Hoodia; hoodia is a leafless plant with finger stems found in the plains and rocky areas of the Kalahari Desert in Southern Africa. Normally people use this plant to pick up their digestion and sometimes also treat minor infections, if present.

The last one we would like to discuss here is Alli. It is presented to the common man in the form of Alli capsules as are the other two. The pill is an improved version of the other two and has a very simple course of action that helps in weight loss. It chiefly prevents the body from absorbing some of the fat you take in from your food supplies. Due to this procedure the body doesn’t get any extra fat, and people are relieved of getting a high BMI (body mass index) than normal.

As many of us may be aware, our hair grows and falls in a cyclical manner. In an average, human hair grows up to 6 inches in a year. This growth rate is applicable only to head hair and not to the hair growing in other parts of our body. It is also essential to note that the aforesaid hair growth rate may differ from one Individual to another depending on various factors.

It is quite natural to notice that our hair growth diminishes as we get older. However for few Individuals, there is an excessive amount of hair fall or the hair growth is slowed down during the early/mid stage of their life. This is a matter of serious concern for many as it mars the beauty of their face and they are subject to mockery due to bald-head. Let us see what contributes to excessive hair loss.

Dandruff ? Get rid of it!

Dandruff

Dandruff, a condition of having the scalp of the head flaking off the dead skin is though often not always caused due to dry scalp. The exfoliation of dead skin cells from the scalp is quite common to an extent which unless may require periodic attention.

Dandruff, either chronically or as a result of certain triggers is experienced with excessive flaking of dead skin mostly accompanied with redness and irritation. Although certain cases are easily treated with specialized shampoos, symptoms of seborrhoeic dermatitis, psoriasis, fungal infection or excoriation associated with infestation of head lice would require specific treatment.

Causes

Dandruff was earlier believed to be caused by Malassezia furfur, a fungus naturally found on the human skin until the discovery of Malassezia globosa, a scalp specific fungus that metabolizes the sebaceous secretions (sebum) to disturb homeostasis causing erosion of skin cells.

Dandruff can be caused by potential factors like lack of healthy food & proper rest, stress, excessive perspiration and climate etc. It can seldom be a manifestation of allergic reactions to hair products like hair gel, hair spray, hair oil or sometimes even dandruff medications.

The Riddance

Regular shampooing can easily wash away the scalp flakes; however elimination of the fungus shows better results. The following are the most common anti-fungal agents

a. Zinc pyrithione (Pert & dandruff control)
b. Ketoconazole (Anti-fungal drug)
c. Selenium sulfide (Anti-fungal agent against fungi & yeasts).

However, Anti-dandruff shampoos (Head & Shoulders, Nizoral and Selsun Blue) containing Ketoconazole (concluded the most effective anti-fungal agent) showed better results to that of other anti-fungal agents.

Although there are other home remedies like Oil soaks, Vinegar rinses and usage of Tea-tree oil/Coneflower with Red clover extracts; Prevention is always better than cure abiding healthy habits for a healthy living.
